Thanks for visiting my blog! I love that you are dedicated to all the that is fucking fabulous in our nursing world. It’s inspiring. I work with cardiac patients post-op, and we get very excited about farts. I actually clapped once.

Thanks for visiting the Pig’s Arms too. We hope you have as much fun there as our regulars. For a random cyber pub, we have an inordinately large number of male nurses. And fine blokes to an individual they are too. The mister sisters.
You’re most welcome at our place and we’d be pleased to let them all know about your blog.
Kind regards,
Emmjay

Hi Fabulousm! I dropped by to thank you for subscribing to my blog. You are disarmingly funny. Some of my favorite people are nurses because one of them kept me from being killed by an inattentive doctor. He was stereotypically arrogant when she confronted him, but she pushed back with all her might, and I am here to tell the tale. Keep laughing at the absurdity of life, keep writing, and keep helping people. We need more nurses!
Dec 15, 2011 @ 09:54:47
Thanks so much for your kind words! I’m glad that you’re here and that a nurse swooped in and saved you!!!Thanks for sharing!

Robert Frost said that?? I thought it was Jimmy Buffet..”Changes in attitudes, changes in latitudes?”
Thanks for following my blog. I hope you enjoy the trip..

While we share nothing in the nursing world, we do have blogging in common. You minister to the acutely ill whereas I try to help those who suddenly find themselves terminally ill with a cryptogenic disease (HCV). Helping others may be one of the highest callings when it isn’t motivated by money. I find the reward of teaching Vets how to win their claims tantamount to a spiritual high. I suspect you get the same from a job well done. Your humor can be one one of the richest rewards you can give your patients. I spent a year and 4 operations in a VA Hospital. Were it not for 4 or 5 truly wonderful nurses, I suspect I wouldn’t be here. As for the other 45 indifferent, uncaring and self-absorbed pseudo-nurses- may they be condemned to scraping poop off the floor for eternity.

Thank your for the comment! I’m so glad you had at least a few great nurses during your experiences! I’m glad you have the inner strength to keep plugging along even after all those stays!!! I’m right there with you when it comes to condemning those pseudo nurses! I absolutely love that term by the way! Thanks for your kind words!
